Who We Are
A bit about who we are at Lilac Pixel.
I am Andy Cragg, and I run Lilac Pixel as a web design agency. I have many year's experience as a web developer and also as a software engineer (I like to think that should be at the same level as "civil engineer", or "electronics engineer").
I work from home here in the glorious Vale of Glamorgan in South Wales, very near the sea and rolling countryside around me. While I can provide websites for anyone in the world, it is especially useful if we can have a chat locally, so I can see you in Cowbridge, Llantwit Major, Cardiff, Bridgend, St Athan, Barry, Dinas Powys and all around the Vale of Glamorgan!
A bit of a fess - Lilac Pixel is me and my accountant - the excellent Charlotte at Macey Owen but I have contacts and people I can talk to about techie matters but when this website talks about "we" then it is mainly me.
I've been doing some form of web design since 2001 (Wayback Machine : caesura.co.uk) and in the last few years it has been my full time job, in one form or other.
If you look at our websites, you will see that we've created and deployed many websites recently and are therefore best placed to come up with one for you! Amongst those sites are my customer sites, some personal ones, some fun ones, and some plainly weird ones. I just like to create unique websites.
As for me personally, in my spare time I write short stories : andykjcragg.co.uk, create 'interesting' music : chintzbaby.com, paint abstract works : andycragg.com/art, take photos : akjcragg.com and have been known to tread the boards in an Amateur way : andycragg.com/acting.
You may have noticed that Lilac Pixel is a trading name of Caesura Media Limited - this is because, well, 'Caesura' is a pain to spell, remember and pronounce! So I came up with Lilac Pixel, as it appeared fairly unique on Google Search.
